Ang Tansan at ang Limpak-limpak na Kayamanan

Mama has this habit of collecting soda and beer caps and crowns from our store to sell to the junk shop. And this morning, it already weighed almost two kilos.

She promised Brianne,  "O, ibebenta natin yang mga tansan.  Tapos sayo na lang ang pera." The kid got excited.

While at the mall this afternoon, a convo with her mom:

Mommy (joking):  'Di ba gusto mo ng TABLET (android)?  Ipambibili natin yung pagbebentahan mo ng tansan.
Brianne (excited): Sige po mommy!  Sayang sarado yung junk shop kanina.
Brianne (pauses): Ay teka, pano yung TUITION ko?
Mommy: Wow!  Ay oo nga pala, Sige.
Brianne (saw a bag):  At saka BAG din pala, mommy.
Mommy (whispered) :  Haha! Ang dami mong plano sa tansan mo ha.

Later...

Brianne:  Bibili din pala ako ng wallet.  E kasi wala akong paglalagyan ng perang mapagbebentahan.

***gusto kong gumulong ***

Another scene:

Tita Donna (joking again): Brianne, bibili daw ng kotse si Ninang bukas.
Brianne (looks ate me):  Bukas? Totoo?
Tita Ninang: Oo nga, ilan ang gusto mo?
Brianne:  Forty -eight! Eight sa akin,  yung iba ipapamigay natin.
Tita Ninang :  Teka, kasya ba yun sa plastic?  :D
Brianne:  Ay oo nga,  sige na nga... one na lang muna.

Why am I telling this?  I guess because of a realization:

A KID knows what she exactly wants and is firm -- not confined within limits that people set.

An (ideal) ADULT weighs things as to what's impossible at the moment (again...at the moment) and with the resources BUT does something to make it possible.

Be both.
